Your zone answers around the clock. You see none of it.
How often is your domain queried, from which continent, for which record type, and which names run into nothing? The answers have always been in our network. From now on they are in your dashboard too.
Every connection starts here. Nothing measures it.
Every website visit, every incoming mail, every TLS check begins with a DNS query. Almost every other part of the stack has a graph: web server, database, mail server. For the layer in front of all of them, there is nothing.
So every DNS question becomes a guess. Is the outage ours or yours? Did the migration take? Is somebody walking your zone systematically? Without numbers the answer stays a feeling.
What you cannot see without numbers
- Typos that cost money
- Names that run into nothing appear as NXDOMAIN. Usually it is a misconfigured record in some application that nobody else notices.
- Whether the migration really finished
- After a switch, traffic to the old name drops. If it does not, some device is still pointed at the old address.
- Where your users actually are
- Which anycast node answers tells you where your zone is really in demand. That is often not the country you assume.

The anycast network answers your queries anyway. The counting happens where the answer is produced.

Our nameservers in 17 locations across 15 countries report what they answered. No sampling and no third-party measurement service in between.

The reports travel over our own link into our own database. Your query data does not leave our infrastructure.

Every account sees the last 24 hours for free. Seven and thirty days of history belong to the Business plan.
Three paths, one zone

There is no endpoint and no agent tool for the query numbers yet. We say so here instead of hiding it behind a zone API.

- Counting happens beside the answer, not before it. The query path itself is unchanged.

- The zone has to sit on our nameservers. For zones at another provider we cannot count what we do not answer.

The 24-hour view stays free, for every zone and with no plan. Business opens up seven and thirty days of history.

Before you ask
What gets asked first.
We analyse in aggregate: volume, answering node, record type, names with no match. There is no per-query view, and it is not available to us either. Evaluating single queries needs your own logging; that is a different product, not a setting here.
The first 24 hours cost nothing.
Open an account, create or move a zone, and the first curve appears the next day. Add the history when you need it.
